Laura Lhuillier: In Search for Life
“For me, the Mother represents the protector, the one who takes care, the one who created. In my work I’m heavily inspired by women! Strong, independent, and happy women. I often draw scenes that pay tribute to the beauty of mother nature: lush jungles where it is good to live, seabeds full of life, or joyful landscapes where animals and women cohabit in beautiful harmony. The cosmos also takes a huge place in my inspiration, because I’m fascinated by astronomy—and after all, space is the mother of all galaxies, the mother of everything in this universe.”
