“I always found a rhythmic quality to the spaced out warps from light leaks or shutter blips when I make a mistake with my film camera. Usually I accidentally expose my reel or double expose my photos or leave the shutter open too long with too much shake, but these photos bring out vitality to me. You can visibly see the movement of the subjects, or my own hand through the cracks and warps, my favorite accessories are mistakes and ugliness that show your hand.”
