Letter N°2
By Cassiane Pfund
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
CONCERN: Whom are we writing letters to when uncertain times of revolution come ?
Dear whom it may concern,
I ignore whether there exists such a person
such a person
such a person.
But I am still writing to you.
I am wondering,
I am wondering
what is a society ?
I read:
a system reassembling human beings
together
to gather.
Sometimes,
I search for my siblings in the crowd
full of hope and despair.
I can feel
their breaths on my neck,
their shadows on my back,
their lights in my night,
but I can’t see their faces.
How could I
when I barely recognize mine ?
Sometimes I let a stream
tearing us
apart
a part

Ghosts
pale fears
a crash in my guts
a desert in my flow
a hole in my head.
Where have we been ?
Kind regards,
